Here is a list of some of the more frequently asked questions that we get.

Q) Can your Flamingo Rods work in any Plastic Pink Flamingo?
A) No!!  Our rods do not work too well for the more harder plastic flamingos, but rather work best in the softer, pliable plastic flamingo. However, we have heard from some of our customers that it IS possible to use them on the harder plastic flamingos.  You just need to use some ingenuity and elbow-grease.

Q) What is your Refund Policy?
A) If you are not satisfied with our Flamingo Rods, we will refund your money back (minus the cost of shipping) if you contact us within 10 days of reciept of the rods.   At this time we will not refund any custom bent rods or cow rods.

Q) I am having trouble installing my Flamingo Rods.  HELP!
A) Do not panic, they do require a little bit of muscle to install.  But once you get them in there, you will be glad you made the transition!  First of all, have you downloaded the Installation Instrutions PDF file? If not, please do so now.  Some of our past customers suggest for installation that you make sure the hole on the bottom is bigger, make sure the hole on top of the mingo is spaced correctly and possibly use pliars to expand the middle bend.  If all else fails, please contact us and we will be more than happy to work with you on the best solution for installation. 

Q) Why can't I just order Cow Rods and bend these myself to make Flamingo Rods?
A) The thickness of the rods make it difficult to make such a sharp bend.  Special tools are used to ensure the correct angle is created on both ends.  Bending these on your own may weakend the rod and cause it to not maintain its longevity.  Also, we have a Patent Pending on the Flamingo Rod, so trying to duplicate it for your own personal gain would be ethically wrong, not to mention illegal. 

Q) Why would I want the Custom Bending service?
A) Flamingo Rods are not for every type of flamingo or plastic critter.  Perhaps you would like the same concept for your cows, roosters, pigs, penguins or other type of critter or sign all together.  We will work with you to determine the best dimensions for rods so that you are completely statisfied.

Q) I am interested in a larger quanity of rods, do you offer bulk discounts?
A) We would be more than happy to accomdate your large order.  At this time, there would be a lead time of approx. 5-6 weeks on orders over 1000 rods.  We do offer a bulk discount on quantities over 2000.  The more you order, the greater the discount, it just depends on your amount.  Contact us for a quote.

Q) Can I use Flamingo Rods for other signs or critters?
A) By all means, if you find another use for them, please feel free to let us know so that we can announce another way to use them!  Some other uses for Flamingo Rods can be for Birthday Candles (Coroplast kind), other types of soft plastic flamingos, smaller-type plastic critters.  Possibilities are not limited to just a plastic Flamingo.  The same applies to Cow Rods, they are very useful on any type of critter or signage.

Q) What forms of payment do you accept?
A) At this time, we accept PayPal or check/mo.  You can also pay by credit card through PayPal even if you do not have an account with them.  If you wish to pay by credit card, state so in the order form and a seperate invoice will be sent from there.  If you are paying by check/mo, please allow extra time for it to clear before we ship your rods out. 

Q) I completed my order through the website but have not heard anything back right away.  Did my order go through?
A) Chances are it did and I have not had a chance to check my email.  Our ordering system is very simple, you submit your order and I get it sent to me in an email.  I then have to manually enter it into my accounting program.  Emails "do" get lost out in the WWW, so if you have not heard a response from me within 3 business days, please drop me an email or resubmit your order.

Q) I've completed my order and paid but have not received my rods yet.  Were they shipped?
A) We state in our invoice email that your rods will be shipped within 10 days of receipt of payment.  If you have provided a valid email address, you should receive an email from UPS with a tracking number. You can track your package through them.  We also ask for a courtesy email to let us know when you have received them.  If you have not received your UPS email within 10 days of receipt of payment, please contact us so we can look into the problem.  If you received your email from UPS and somehow they lose your package, please let me know that also so we can file a claim with UPS and send you another shipment.
